Modal Verbs in English to Telugu

Modal Verbs:	మోడల్ క్రియలు:
1. May:	1. మే:
i) To make requests (formal) - May I sit down?	i) అభ్యర్థనలు చేయడానికి (అధికారిక) - నేను కూర్చోవచ్చా?
ii) To give permission (formal)  - You may sit down.	ii) అనుమతి ఇవ్వడానికి (అధికారికంగా) - మీరు కూర్చోవచ్చు.
iii) To show possibility  - It's starting to get cloudy - it may rain soon.	iii) అవకాశం చూపడానికి - మేఘావృతమై ఉంది - త్వరలో వర్షం పడవచ్చు.
2. Can:	2. చెయ్యవచ్చు:
i) To make requests (informal) - Can I sit down?	i) అభ్యర్థనలు చేయడానికి (అనధికారిక) - నేను కూర్చోవచ్చా?
ii)  To give permission (informal)  - You can sit down.	ii) అనుమతి ఇవ్వడానికి (అనధికారిక) - మీరు కూర్చోవచ్చు.
iii) To express possibility (generally) - It can rain sometimes.	iii) సంభావ్యతను వ్యక్తీకరించడానికి (సాధారణంగా) - కొన్నిసార్లు వర్షం పడవచ్చు.

i) To make requests (polite) - Could I sit down?	i) అభ్యర్థనలు చేయడానికి (మర్యాదగా) - నేను కూర్చోవచ్చా?
ii) To express possibility (weaker than "may")  - It could rain but it is not common in this part of the country	ii) సంభావ్యతను వ్యక్తీకరించడానికి ("మే" కంటే బలహీనమైనది) - వర్షం పడవచ్చు కానీ దేశంలోని ఈ ప్రాంతంలో ఇది సాధారణం కాదు
